About Me
Compassionate, Collaborative, and Committed to Helping You Heal
Welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Reaching out for support can be one of the most vulnerable steps a person takes, and I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space, where you can feel safe exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're seeking therapy for yourself or your child, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward healing, growth, and lasting resilience.Â

My Journey
My passion for helping others began long before becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Since graduating high school, I have dedicated my career to walking alongside individuals and families during some of life's most challenging moments. Each role I've held has deepened my belief in the resilience of the human spirit and strengthened my commitment to creating spaces where people feel understood, supported, and empowered.
Over the years, I have worked across a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health programs, crisis services, hospitals, and healthcare. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people at different stages of life and navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.
Early in my career, I worked as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist and later as a Special Education (SAI) teacher while completing my education. During graduate school, I gained valuable clinical experience through internships in both psychiatric and school-based settings, where I worked with adolescents and individuals experiencing complex mental health needs.
One of the most meaningful experiences of my career was serving as a volunteer crisis counselor. During that time, I received specialized training in supporting survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking while providing crisis intervention and emotional support through a 24-hour crisis hotline. This work profoundly shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of compassionate, trauma-informed care.
I later continued this work through roles supporting individuals and families facing psychiatric crises, suicidal ideation, trauma, placement-related challenges, and other significant life altering circumstances. My experience with crisis intervention and community-based services strengthened my ability to remain present and grounded during some of the most difficult moments in a person's life. I have also worked in healthcare, supporting individuals navigating chronic medical conditions and the emotional impact these experiences can have on their daily life.
Today, my clinical work focuses on anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, and the lasting effects of sexual trauma. My professional experiences, along with a deep appreciation for the strength and resilience of those I serve, continue to shape my approach to therapy. I am passionate about providing thoughtful, compassionate, and evidence-based care while meeting each person where they are and honoring their individual pace, needs, and goals.
My Approach
I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. Every person's story is unique, which is why I tailor therapy to each individual's experiences, strengths, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My style is warm, supportive, and approachable, and I move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I believe meaningful healing happens when clients feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, and strengths-based practices. Together, we'll develop practical skills, foster greater self-awareness, and create space for healing, resilience, and meaningful growth.
Above all, I value the therapeutic relationship. I believe genuine connection is one of the strongest predictors of positive change, and I work to create an environment where clients feel accepted, supported, and encouraged every step of the way. It is truly a privilege to be invited into my clients' lives, and I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to do work that I am so passionate about.
A Little About Me
Outside of my work as a therapist, I value the simple moments that help me stay grounded and connected. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, being in nature, and making time for activities that bring balance and joy to everyday life. I believe that caring for ourselves is an ongoing practice, and I strive to bring that same sense of mindfulness, compassion, and authenticity into both my personal life and my work with clients.
Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I understand that finding the right therapist is an important decision, and I hope this has given you a sense of who I am and how I approach therapy. Whether you're navigating a difficult season or simply seeking a space to grow, I would be grateful for the opportunity to support you every step of the way.
